On-Campus Small Groups
Meets throughout the year
1st Mondays, 7:00pm
United Methodist Men
The ministry of men in the local church is defined as a core group of men who invite and initiate spiritual growth opportunities for all men of the church. Everyone has different gifts, graces and areas on interest. Therefore, opportunities for participation include diverse ministries of the church; prayer groups, mission projects, Bible studies, retreats, workshops/seminars, Sweetheart dinners, Shrimperoo, assisting youth activities, working with WARM, and monthly meetings with interesting speakers. The focus is not inward, concentrating only on those who attend the meetings, but outward to all men, assisting them to engage in the process of spiritual growth. Our mission is to support spiritual growth among men, helping men to mature as disciples as they encourage spiritual formation in others. Our goal is to empower the ministry of Jesus Christ through men within the congregation of the UMC.
